About the Founder
Blake Coleman
I began working in my family’s vineyards and nursery at the age of 8 years old. From transplanting nursery stock, to building soils, to harvesting grapes, I learned about the intricacies of farming from an early age. My great grandfather instilled in his children and grandchildren strong values and a strong work ethic, which I’ve carried forward throughout my career. After studying business at the University of Mississippi, I returned to the Central Valley to build what is known as Fourth Gen Solutions, an Ag distribution and consulting company, while personally developing my first almond orchard and helping manage the families vineyards and walnuts. My goal is to place each farmer in control of his or her inputs through smarter farming practices centered on sustainability—ensuring productive land for future generations.
